Wrapping Up Small Business Week

All week long, we’ve been celebrating National Small Business Week in small ways and in big ways. Participating in an event like this is important to us because we are a proud small business, and we have come a long way in the last 10 years.

At The Web Guys, we plan on staying small so we can keep thinking big. We’ve welcomed a diverse group into our team over the years, and we all come from various backgrounds. This gives us an advantage we could have never dreamed of.

Lindsey Johnson, Senior Client Success Manager, was the company’s 4th employee and has had an unmistakable effect on the evolution of The Web Guys.

“I feel a great since of pride working for a small business – especially in the booming tech scene that has emerged in Indianapolis. The relationships I’ve had the privilege of building over the last 5+ years working for a small company has directly attributed to my personal and professional growth more than I could have ever imagined. I work among some of the most passionate, driven, eccentric, and creative people I have ever met.”

Lindsey landed her position with our company shortly after graduating from Indiana University in Bloomington and has had a major role in The Web Guys’ success ever since. Her heart has always been in small business, which is where she plans on staying.

Scott Curry, one of our graphic designers and web developers, brings a strong corporate background into the mix.

“At first I was afraid (I was petrified?) of working for a small business after coming from a corporate background. For years I worked with and managed over 100 employees at a time and answered to a corporate office across the country. So yeah, it was a little scary making the transition, but I knew I had to do it because I knew it would be a better fit for me. And I have to say, it was the best decision I have ever made.

Personally and professionally, my growth has been exponential. Plus, now I have a new family. I work so closely with such incredible people on a daily basis, so it’s hard not to be constantly inspired by their hard work and creativity.”

Day in and day out, all of our hearts are in this small business. Our diverse backgrounds, expert skills, and unique personalities create an awesome atmosphere for our company and for all of our customers.

So to all of our clients and to every over small business like us, we send you our deepest gratitude for allowing us to serve you.
