As a spunky and fun small business, no two days around our office are the same. Granted, we work with clients across the country in many different industries, so that in itself provides a colorful calendar of work. But that’s not all we do around here.
Besides being a retro reminder of our childhoods, the giant chalkboard in our office is a central place to communicate with the whole gang. We scribble team updates. We drink too much coffee and write inspirational quotes. It serves as the backdrop for impromptu staff meetings. And when it’s not being used for work, we obviously use it to play.
Secluded on the south side of our office lies our Client Success Team Headquarters. These jovial folks are the smiling faces that constantly answer phone calls and reach out to our clients. There is such a constant whirlwind of communication and brilliant ideas that exudes from this busy (yet peppy) team that we gave them their own glass hive to buzz around.
Our Client Success Team is arguably the hardest working group of people I’ve ever had the pleasure to know, but don’t let the commotion fool you! While 99.99 percent of their days are spent working hard for our clients, sometimes they shut their door to jam out to a Spotify playlist or play a little 1-on-1.
“We’ll take Group Bonding for $1000 please, Alex.”
What better way to unwind at the end of every workday than to ignite a little friendly competition? Joe, our in-house social media wizard*, came across a daily Jeopardy calendar at the beginning of the year. Every day as folks start to head out the door, we gather around the Jeopardy board to take our chance at answering the day’s question.
“Group Bonding for $1000? Looks like that’s the Daily Double!”
As with any work environment that isn’t run by robots, we all know you have to have a little fun to balance out all of the hard work. These are just a few of the ways we contribute to our company’s culture to make sure we all have smiles on our faces.
*We cannot confirm, nor deny, that there is actual wizardry involved with Joe’s work; however, we can say that it is so awesome, it can only logically be explained by mystical forces.
